How each referee shapes the fantasy environment. A whistle-happy ref means more penalties (and six-agains), a stricter ref sends more players to the sin bin, and a high-scoring environment lifts attacking output. Averaged per match across completed games.

Red = above the league average for penalties, ruck infringements, sin bins or send-offs (a tighter whistle); green = a higher-scoring environment than average. "Ruck infr." counts ruck-infringement calls, which since 2020 produce six-again set restarts — the NRL feed has no separate six-again stat, and it's only meaningful from 2020 on. Sin bins and send-offs are rare, so those columns run low and wobble on small samples — raise the minimum games to focus on established referees.
